(P) Nos primeiros dias após a minha volta ao Brasil, na véspera do Natal em 2016, minha minha mãe me fez uma encomenda: ela queria que eu desenhasse uns flamingos pra ela, e também emoldurá-los e pendurá-los na parede da sala. A inspiração demorou um pouco... Eu queria fazer algo que mamãe gostasse muito! E eu sei que pra ela seria a combinação de simplicidade, amor e detalhes. Pesquisei diversas imagens online mas foi numa revista de crochê que mamãe mostrou que eu encontrei a melhor inspiração. Com os desenhos prontos, fomos juntos ao shopping escolher as molduras. A última coisa foi pendurar. Mamãe trouxe o metro pra eu não martelar os pregos em diferentes alturas 😎. Essa experiência significou muito pra mim e tenho muito orgulho em saber que minha arte tem exposição permanente lá em casa.
(E) During the first days after my return to Brazil, before Christmas in 2016, my mother asked me for a special order: she wanted me to draw some Flamingos for her, frame it and hang it on the dining room wall. The inspiration didn't come fast... I wanted to do a thing she'd love! And I know that to her it should be the combination of simplicity, love and detail. I researched many online images but it was in a crochet magazine that mom showed me that I found the best inspiration. With the drawings done, we went together to the mall to chose the frames. The last thing was to hang them. Mom brought the tape measurer to make sure I would hammer the nails at the same level 😎. This experience meant a lot to me and I'm so proud that my art is in permanent exhibition at Mom's home.
